We provide specialised treatment for delicate and critically ill newborns facing medically complex conditions. They may require special attention due to factors such as age, low birth weight, sepsis, intrauterine growth restrictions, congenital malformations (birth defects), pulmonary hyperplasia, birth asphyxias and a variety of other surgical conditions.

Our team, comprising neonatologists, therapists, dietitians and medical assistants are on standby 24/7 with advanced imaging facilities, respiratory support and more. We are also the only private hospital in Shah Alam to be equipped with full Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) facilities.

Our unit aims to deliver exceptional, science-driven neonatal intensive care. We will work closely with families to ensure that newborns get essential support to achieve their full potential.

If a disease or condition is identified prior to delivery, our neonatologist will consult with your obstetrician and gynaecologist during your pregnancy. They will attend the birth and offer prompt treatment for high-risk pregnancies.

Improving outcomes for newborns with NICU

Preterm babies or critically ills infants such as those suffering from breathing difficulties, heart problems and infections may need more care than expected, and this is where our advanced NICU facilities stand out. They also significantly lower the risk of transferring newborns after delivery of high-risk cases.

We currently have 4 NICU spaces designed to ensure that patients and families receive excellent care within a family-centred environment.
