Specialist Background

Dr. Nazatul Sabariah Ahmad obtained her DDS degree at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (2004) and Doctor in Dentistry in Paediatric Dentistry from UCL Eastman Dental Institute, London UK (2012). She is a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry.

She worked in the Ministry of Health from 2004, later joined as an academician in a public university for 10 years before joining the private sector. She is the Resident Consultant in Avisena Women’s and Children’s Specialist Hospital, Shah Alam.

Her niche area is aesthetic dentistry in children as she provides zirconia crowns to young children to preserve the teeth. She is also managing dental trauma, dental anomalies and performs minor surgeries. Dr Nazatul has an interest in growth and development, has collective experience in managing autistic children in various spectrum and other medical problems.

She is a member of the Malaysian Dental Association, Malaysian Association of Pediatric Dentistry (Committee), International Association of Paediatric Dentistry and International Association of Dental Research.
