Specialist Background

Dr Iqbal was previously an ENT Lecturer/Specialist in UKM Medical Centre for 5 years and later the Resident ENT Consultant at Columbia Asia Hospital Petaling Jaya for three and a half years before moving to Avisena Specialist Hospital.

He gained his basic medical and surgical training in the UK and completed most of his ENT training in UKM, Malaysia. With over 8 years’ experience as an ENT Surgeon, Dr Iqbal is well-versed in managing a wide range of basic and more complex ENT problems and perform all basic ENT operations and procedures as well as more advanced procedures in Laryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
