MBBS from Kasturba Medical College Manipal, India in 1983. Masters in Anaesthesia (Malaya) from the University of Malaya in 1993. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia (FAMM).

His career in anaesthesia began in the Department of Anaesthesia in Ipoh Hospital, Perak and subsequently in the University Hospital of Kuala Lumpur where he is still practising as a Visiting Consultant Anaesthetist.

He was also attached to the Department of Anaesthesia at the Whiston Hospital, Merseyside and Royal Liverpool Hospital, United Kingdom for 3 years.

Dr Raveen is one of our pioneer doctors as he began his career at Avisena Specialist Hospital in 1997.
