Dr Tan is a graduate from Melaka Manipal Medical College and received his MBBS in year 2006. He received his Master of Pediatric from University Malaya in 2014 and awarded Malaysian Paediatric Association (MPA) best post-graduate award in 2014.
He worked before in few centers like Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Pusat Perubatan University Malaya dan Hospital Segamat.
He completed the Post graduate program in Pediatric Nutrition by Boston University and has special interests in paediatric respiratory health, neonatolgy and nutritions.
