Specialist Background

Dr. Akmal earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from International Medical University Malaysia in 2008. He then attained his Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) – Part 1 in 2010. Further advancing his specialization, he completed his Master’s in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2016, followed by a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from Hospital Tengku Azizah in 2021, solidifying his expertise in the field.

Dr. Akmal previously served as the Head of Department and Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah. His extensive experience and commitment to his field will be invaluable to our team and the care of our patients.
