Dr Fairuz completed her Medical Degree and Masters in O&G in UKM.
She has been practising Obstetrics & Gynaecology since 1992. In Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR), Sepang District of Health, Hospital Ipoh, Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Baru, Hospital Kuala Lumpur and HUKM (where she held the post of lecturer until 2000).
She has participated in various ultrasound and laparoscopic workshops, locally and internationally, giving her extensive experience in laparoscopic gynaecological surgeries and ultrasound.
