Specialist Background

Dr. Zulayla earned her Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Southampton in 1999. She pursued further specialization by completing her Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP) in 2003. She then attained her Membership of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2006. Additionally, she obtained an Advanced Hysteroscopic Surgery Training Module from Royal Hallamshire Hospital Sheffield in 2010, further solidifying her expertise.

In September 2010, she was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology by the General Medical Council, United Kingdom. In 2018, Dr. Zulayla completed a Fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery at Mahkota Medical Centre.

Prior to joining Avisena Women’s & Children’s Specialist Hospital, Dr. Zulayla served as Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at MSU Medical Centre.
